Spring is here, Summer is closer than you think.

The last few weeks have been a whirl of excitement and anticipation!
I spend a week on the road meeting with big wigs, then trying to figure out how to put all the ideas and pieces together. The summer schedule is now together and the biggest deal of the last 10 years or so is we are NOW official
Schuberth Helmet, SRC-System Bluetooth communication and HELD gloves dealer!!

We have produced three new videos with a fourth almost done. You can see the finished ones below.

Then we’ll be working on application, fitment videos on the Schuberth helmets and HELD gloves
Building the website pages for Schuberth and HELD was hard and time consuming BUT it got done so you can check
them out and tell me where the mistakes are.

In addition we are now offering “BUFF Head gear” and that page is near finished. Then another video on BUFF to work on.

What is Spring?

Spring is a season. There are four seasons in a year, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season is marked by different weather and hours of daylight.

We have seasons because the earth takes a year to move round the sun, which gives us light and warmth, and because the earth tilts at an angle of 23.5 degrees. In winter we tilt away from the sun and in the summer we tilt further towards the sun. However, on the first day of spring the sun shines equally on both the north and south hemispheres of the Earth.

From March 20th onwards in the northern hemisphere, the hours of daylight get longer and longer until summer, when you will notice that it is still light at bedtime.

So when summer begins 21 June 21st there are over 16 hours of daylight and under 8 hours of darkness.

The reason for the days getting longer is because our country is tilting more and more towards the sun. As the sun's rays reach us more directly the days get warmer as well as longer.

It all means more time to RIDE!

Customer Comments

Hi Richard,

I wanted to let you know I re-read this stuff and was messing up. I was never pressing the Jog button for multipoint pairing and always pressing the phone button. Now both the phone (call and audio) and the gps (for nav commands only) are connected directly to the Sena and the phone volume is loud and clear. I use the phone for MP3s or XM streaming anyways so it is perfect.

Thank you,

Just a thanks for your lightning speed delivery and your great   perfect customer service.
Trying your liners this week end, going to Scotts Valley

Thanks again Richard

A little Ditty: Schuberth / Cardo Testing & Research

So today I’ll talk a little about the “Multifunction Wheel” and much much more.

Some riders HAVE to have the volume control feature or at least are reluctant to let it go in order to get other additional better options.

Option ONEhttp://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/_common/img/navigation2014/gallery_communication/Navi_kommunikationssys_Uebersicht_Galerie_gross.jpg
The OEM BMW Bluetooth headsets can connect to the Passenger, the Nav V GPS and the BMW Bluetooth module. BMW also suggests installing these in the C3
or C3Pro only. So now you have a helmet ($769.00) and Bluetooth system ($455.99) that could cost over $1,225.00, EACH.

What are the other options?

Option TWO
Is also using the Schuberth C3 or C3Pro but installing the Schuberth SRC-System.
helmet ($769.00) and SRC-System ($429.00) that could cost over $1,198.00, EACH.
Option THREE
Is using the Schuberth helmet and SENA 20S
helmet ($769.00) and SENA 20S ($269.10) that could cost over $1,038.10, EACH.
Add the SENA Remote control ($89.10) and you have a volume control right next to the Multifunction wheel.

Option Four
Is using ANY other helmet and the SENA 20s
Average helmet ($400.00) and SENA 20S ($269.10) that could cost over $669.10, now price is cut in half!
Add the SENA Remote control ($89.10) and you have a volume control right next to the Multifunction wheel.

I hope you have not made a decision on a helmet and system yet because you’ll want to compare pluses and minuses and what features you may want or not want before you finalize a setup for you or you and a passenger or another rider or two.

There are many things to take into consideration before you make a final choice.

If you choice another system than BMW you lose the Volume control. So what? There are just too many pluses with another system.

The OEM BMW system is not compared because we feel it is way too expensive for what it does and mostly what it does not do. If you want me to explain this statement that’s another conversation ;-)

I have attached a chart.

This chart was made by ME, Not Schuberth, Not BMW, Not SENA. But ME.

Some Highlights of the chart to pay attention to.
IF you do not understand the terminology ask me that’s what I do.

Friends have SRC-System,

Friends have SENA …. You may want to keep the systems the same brand.

Coolness factor

Cost Factor

Bluetooth version … This is a very important decision EDR .. Enhanced Data Rate

Ease of usage of the buttons and dials

If you want a FRS/CB radio or Radar audio alerts …. BIG issue for some.

Amount of friends you want to talk to.

Music Sharing .. PAY ATTENTION this one is important if you have a passenger.

Earbud port … I personally Gotta have this one so I can hear a pin drop at 100 mph.

Optional Remote control …. READ Volume control on the handlebar, see above ;-)

Use while charging …. You iron butt folks need to pay attention here.

Audio Multitasking ….. Another BIG decision.

Ambient Mode … When idling ever have someone standing next to you and you cannot hear them?

YOU and only you can make the final decision. Well you may have to ask your wife first ;-)

Questions? I got answers.
